Fun weekend!

We had jam packed fun weekend! We started out in Sheldon on Thursday night for fireworks with family. On the 4th we headed up to Lake Park for boating and BBQ at my aunt nancy and uncle denny's house. Noah got to tube on a new tube they have that 3 people can go on! He had a blast. He jumped right off the dock with his life jacket on first thing! Maddie wanted to go in right away, but then didn't like that she couldn't touch and was floating, so she stayed pretty close to do Daddy! We went to Arnold's Park in the evening for our traditional night at the park and to watch the fireworks off the dock on the lake with all of the family! We let the kids ride some rides and then had pizza and watched the fireworks. It is such a great tradition and I am so happy we are letting or children see how important it is to be with family and create those times. It does help that all the cousins love to play together amd we do things so often together that they love getting together! Then on Saturday we headed to Minneapolis to see our good friends Aaron and Asher Hemmila and their boys Ezekiel and Isak. It was so great to see them and hang out. The kids enjoyed playing together and we loved our time together. On Sunday morning we went to the Minnesota zoo and met my parents and sister Nikki and my brother in law Ryan. We had a great time seeing all the animals and got to see a couple shows. Ryan and Nikki left about 1:30 and we went with my parents out for supper and then headed home! We got home at midnight last night and the kids slept in until 9:30 this morning! Our next big trip is July 17th and we are headed to Oklahoma to see Andy's family. We can't wait! We are really looking forward to spending time with them on their turf!! I will probably post a bunch of different posts with pics.
