Omaha Zoo

We headed to the Omaha Zoo on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. We have a season pass to our zoo here in Des Moines and that gets us 50% off at the Omaha Zoo! We invited our nephew Max to go along and had such a great time! According to Max, he had never been to this zoo before, so it was a lot of fun for everyone! It rained in the morning but they have so many exhibits that are inside it didn't matter. We went through the Dessert Dome and then when we came out it was done raining. We headed to the van and had a picnic lunch and then as we went back in to the zoo it started raining again, so we went inside to the Kingdom of the Night and then the Aquarium! When we were finished in those inside places it was done raining so the timing was perfect!

Finished our trip with supper at Cracker Barrell and headed home! It was a great day!
