6 weeks already!!

Can you see my curly hair?? Just like my sister Madison at this age and we all know what her hair looks like now!


Well Miss Avery is already 6 weeks old!! Can't believe it. We haven't had her weighed officially yet, but when I had my postpartum check up we weighed me and then added her and she was already 11 pounds!! She gained over 4 pounds in just 6 weeks!! Her 2 month appt. is Sept. 10th and she will get measured too!
She is so strong! Loves to see what is going on. She likes to be facing forward when we walk through the house with her! She also loves to lift her head up when she lays on your chest! Here are a couple pictures of that from the other night when Andy was holding her!

He was trying to get her to lay on his shoulder and she sat right up!!

We have also gone to the Iowa State Fair and have a few pictures from that, but I'll put that in a different post later, probably tomorrow. Life as a family of 4 is busy, but Andy and I wouldn't trade it for anything. We have made many sacrifices to have a bigger family and for me to stay home, but when you think about the sacrifices we have made(smaller house, older cars, hand me down clothes, etc) it doesn't compare to how blessed we feel about our family! Thank you God for blessing us beyond measure with 4 beautiful and healthy children! We love you with all of our hearts and souls!
