We're bracing for our first Blizzard!

We are in a blizzard watch for tomorrow afternoon into tomorrow night! Thank goodness preschool is in the morning, and hopefully we can get back home before the weather gets bad.
We had Adina and Dad Pelham over for a little Christmas gift exchange and supper last Wednesday night. Adina brought her friend Myskal who just loves our kids. We all had a lot of fun and the kids loved their gifts. They have more movies now than we can watch in a week!

The kids got Teddy Bear Connection gift cards from us for Christmas and we went and they got to choose their bears! Noah named his "Charlie" LOVES HIM TO PIECES! He has a couple holes in the seams though and we just got it on Dec. 30th, so I'm going to take him back and ask for a new one. We spent decent money on them and they shouldn't have holes already. Madison got a frog and named hers "Froggie."

We are back in the swing of things again with preschool, AWANA, and small group. Andy and I have taken over leading our small group as of our next meeting. Our leaders have been leading for about 2 1/2 years now and we have been co leading, so they are stepping down and we are stepping up! It will be a change, but we are ready and I think we needed to do it too. We are just starting a new book called Moms Needs, Dads Needs keeping the romance alive after kids.
We are looking forward to February for Mom Pelham to come for a visit! The kids can't wait to see her and we have lots of friend and some family who are due with babies in February, April, May, and June! It will be a great spring, to look forward to meeting the new little lives!

Morgan and Madison had there check ups on Friday. Morgan is 30 inches long 75th% and 20 lbs. 8 oz. 50th%. She is finally starting to walk on her own! She took about 12 steps to Andy the other night when he got home! She can stand in the middle of the room for 5 minutes or more, but when she is ready to move she sits down to crawl! She just now learned how to stand up from sitting in the middle of the floor without holding onto anything, so it will be very soon that she will be on the go!! She got her car seat moved from facing backwards to facing forwards now that she is over 20 pounds! She got to watch her first DVD the other night and was very excited, she kicked her feet through the whole thing
Madison was 38 inches 75th% and 31 lbs. 60th%. She is definitely a 3 year old! Wanting to do everything herself, and also does and says whatever her brother does! She is a lot of fun though! She has such crazy hair!! She will not be liking her mother someday after she finds out I posted this picture of her!! This is her morning hair! This day it was wilder than ever!!
