Noah's birthday weekend

What a fun and crazy weather weekend!! We started out with Noah bringing his birthday snack to preschool on Friday! Ice cream cups and chocolate chip cookies! He always gets excited to bring snack! Then comes Saturday, Noah's real birthday!! Daddy had to work but we had a fun morning! Noah wanted eggs and bacon for breakfast, and the eggs with the runny stuff he said! He got over easy eggs and bacon for his birthday breakfast! He had a couple of phone calls and before we knew it it was time to head out to meet Kieja, Lee, Kendall, Brenna, and Blake at Kidsfest at the fairgrounds. What a great time!! This is the 4th year in a row that we have gone and it has been worth it every year! Morgan was so funny! She really was watching those older kids, she wanted to hopscotch, hula hoop, and tried to go in the kids maze! We let her walk around for a while and she walked over to a hula hoop laying on the ground, sat down in the middle of it, picked up the hoop with one hand and started twisting her upper body back and forth!! It was so funny! She is one smart little cookie!! It was 55 degrees and raining and thunderstorms on Saturday.

Now Sunday started out with breakfast for 10 of us my 5 and the Evans 5. My mom called and was on her way down in a snow storm. It was raining at our house supposed to be 40 degrees. I went to pick up the cake and it was sleeting and by the time Kieja and I left Walmart it was snowing the biggest fattest snowflakes I have ever seen!! My mom had a horrible drive down in snow and ice and my dad, who was flying back from Vegas, was supposed to fly in Saturday night late, but his flight got delayed and rerouted because of weather and he didn't end up getting to our house until Sunday afternoon at 2:30! :( Lee and Kieja left early because of the weather and my parents stayed until Monday morning.
We did have a fun party at our house though on Sunday! Noah got some wonderful and very genrous gifts! Mario Kart, legos, digital camera, new suit, steering wheel for the Wii, monster truck game for the Wii, $$$ for Redbox movies, new clothes, Knex and balls! It was a Hot Wheels birthday, so of course we had a Hot Wheels cake! He got a little shy when we were singing Happy Birthday to him! He really had a great birthday and we have our first friends party this Friday night at Happy Joe's! I'll have more pictures to post after this weekend I'm sure!!
