What a great day yesterday was. We had a great morning at church and hen headed to williamsburg for the day for some shopping which is what i wanted to do! It was even better because the kids were so well behaved! We then went into Iowa City and had supper at Olive Garden where the kids were great again! We had so much fun and i truly enjoyed my special day.
We got some very sad yet happy news yesterday too. one of my friends from school Craig Schott lost his battle with a brain tumor. The Lord was waiting for him with open arms though, because he was definitely a follower of Christ! He leaves behind a wife, 3 year old daughter, and infant son. Please be praying for their family and close friends in the days and weeks to come as they adjust to life without Craig. i went to preschool all the way through high school with him, so he was truly a childhood friend! his laugh was contagious and you know he was my boyfriend in 6th grade, for about a week or 2! In fact all the girls wanted to be his girlfriend then, I have lots of great pictures as memories! i will be traveling back home for the funeral sometime this week.
